Hello and welcome to our page! My name is Darian, I am a mother to three young boys, run our family's urban micro farm, and homeschool both school age boys. Our mission is to produce and raise the best, healthiest puppies possible. Our dogs are raised in our home as very important members of our family, they spend their days at our sides, on our couch, and accompany us on adventures. My children are very involved with our puppies, this helps ensure the puppies are well socialized and gives my kids wonderful learning experiences. We currently have three females, Amelia and Melody the Dachshunds, Ruby the Miniature Poodle, and two males, Boe a Miniature Poodle and Jack a Miniature Dachshund. You can visit their pages to learn more about them and see pictures of each of them. We currently produce Doxiepoo puppies, half Dachshund and half Miniature Poodle, and AKC Miniature Dachshund puppies. We are on the look out for an AKC Miniature Poodle female to add to our family, which allows us to offer AKC Miniature poodle puppies in the future, as well.

Our puppies go home well socialized, handled daily, litterpan potty trained to ease potty training, vet checked, regularly dewormed, given their first set of shots, micro-chipped, 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance at no cost to you, a one year health guarantee, any records we have kept, and a little go-home pack with a variety of items to ease transitions from our home to yours. Continue reading bellow to get more information on our program and an explanation of what we offer, including pricing information.

Our puppies are handled regularly from the very start, we practice ENS (early neurological stimulation) and ensure that each puppy is touched all over it's entire body everyday, this ensures that your puppy will go home confident and ready for snuggles. We also expose the puppies to a wide variety of various sights, sounds and smells that they may encounter, exposure at an early age will help your puppy be confident in situations that may normally frighten them. Some examples of how we do this is by playing the sound of fireworks, power tools, and other loud sounds, showing the puppies things like vacuums, umbrellas, and children's toys. Each puppy is temperament tested to give you an idea of the personality of your new puppy before take home day.

Our parent dogs are all genetically tested and clear of hundreds of diseases, with a focus on these breed specific concerns, Neonatal Encephalopathy, Osteocondrodysplasia, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Von Willebrand Disease, Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy, Mucopolysaccharidosis, Narcolepsy, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis, and Osteogenesis Imperfecta. In addition to genentic testing, the puppies are all brought to the vet for a vet check and their first set of vaccines before they go home with you, we also de-worm the puppies every two weeks, and keep our household free of fleas, so you can be sure that your puppy goes home as healthy as possible. Puppies also get their nails clipped each week and exposure to regular grooming, ensuring they are use to the amount and type of grooming they will require during their life time. Each puppy also goes home with a one year health guarantee because we know how important it is to take home the healthiest puppy, and we stand behind the quality of our puppies!

To ensure the health of our adult dogs and any liters we may have, we do not allow visits prior to pick up. Many dangerous and deadly diseases are easily and unknowingly transferred from simply stepping on a contaminated surface and spreading it by contacting any surfaces here. Diseases like Parvo can live in the soil for many years and is not easily eradicated due to it's resistance to most cleaning products, Parvo can easily kill a puppy in as little as a few days. Puppies are extremely vulnerable with underdeveloped immune systems, and unable to be fully vaccinated until 16+ weeks old. It's our job to keep our dogs and puppies as safe and healthy as we can, so we do not allow visits and instead offer video chat options to see the puppies, adult dogs, and myself, as well as regular photos, videos and weekly updates on the puppy you pick out.

To ease future potty training and keep our puppies clean and healthy, we use a litter pan filled with wood pellets instead of things like potty pads. The puppies learn to only potty on the wood pellets, even as we increase the space they have access to as they grow, keeping their space cleaner and more sanitary. When they are older we do introduce them to the outdoors as the weather allows as well. This wood pellet litter training system prepares them to transition to full potty training by teaching the puppies not to potty where ever they want in our home, and sets a foundation that potty habits only happen in one location. You can continue to use the litter pan system in your own home by slowly decreasing the dependence on the litter pan as they get older and are able to hold their potty needs for longer periods of time while learning to only potty outside or jump right into potty training with out the litter pan and be successful either way!

Each puppy goes home with a few things to ease the transition, a puppy pack that includes a small bag of the food they have been eating, a small bag of wood pellets, a small blanket with mom's scent, a few toys, treats, and other goodies, as well as a folder containing the bill of sale, health guarantee, vet records, information on the 30 days of pet insurance and the microchip, we also include a birth certificate and any records we have kept as the puppy grows.
We require that a non-refundable holding fee be paid at the time you reserve your puppy and will provide a signed copy of the document outlining the agreement at the time of reservation. The non-refundable holding fee will go toward the total purchase price of your puppy, with the remaining amount to be paid at pick-up. You will not be able to take home your new puppy until you have paid the total purchase price in full.

The Waitlist

The waitlist is very easy to get on, just contact us and give your name, phone number, email, and puppy preferences such as breed, color, and gender. There is no fee!

Once a litter has been born we go down through the waitlist and reach out to each person and let them know if we think we do or do not have a puppy that will be a match for their family. At that time the holding fee can be paid and the puppy can be officially reserved.
