Hello and welcome to our page! My name is Darian. I am a mother to three young boys, run our family’s urban micro farm, and homeschool our school-age children. Our mission is to responsibly raise healthy, well-socialized puppies with wonderful temperaments.
Our dogs are raised in our home as beloved members of our family. They spend their days by our sides, relaxing on the couch, and joining us on everyday adventures. My children are very involved in helping care for and socialize the puppies, which provides both valuable learning experiences for them and important early socialization for the puppies.
We currently have three females: Melody and Rose, our Dachshunds, and Ruby, our Miniature Poodle. We also have two males: Boe, a Miniature Poodle, and Jack, a Miniature Dachshund. You can visit their individual pages to learn more about them and view photos.

Early Socialization & Puppy Development
Our puppies are handled regularly from the very beginning. We practice ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ensure each puppy is gently touched and handled daily to help build confidence and comfort with human interaction.
We also expose our puppies to a wide variety of sights, sounds, and experiences they may encounter throughout life. Early exposure helps puppies grow into confident, adaptable companions. Some examples include:
-
Fireworks and thunderstorms
-
Power tools and household noises
-
Vacuums and umbrellas
-
Children’s toys and everyday household activity
Each puppy can also be temperament tested to help give you an idea of your puppy’s personality before take-home day.
Health Testing & Veterinary Care
Our parent dogs are genetically tested for a wide range of breed-specific genetic conditions, including:
-
Neonatal Encephalopathy
-
Osteochondrodysplasia
-
Progressive Retinal Atrophy
-
Von Willebrand Disease
-
Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy
-
Mucopolysaccharidosis
-
Narcolepsy
-
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis
-
Osteogenesis Imperfecta
In addition to genetic testing the parents, all puppies receive a veterinary health exam and their first vaccinations before going home. Puppies are dewormed every two weeks, and we maintain a clean, flea-free environment to help ensure they are as healthy as possible.
Puppies also have their nails trimmed regularly and are introduced to routine grooming early in life so they become comfortable with the grooming requirements they will need throughout their lifetime.
Each puppy also goes home with a one-year health guarantee because we believe it is important to provide families with the healthiest puppies possible and stand behind the quality of our program.
Visiting Policy
To help protect the health of our adult dogs and puppies, we do not allow in-person visits prior to pickup.
Many dangerous illnesses can unknowingly be transferred simply by walking through contaminated areas and bringing germs onto surfaces or property. Diseases such as Parvovirus can survive in soil for years and are extremely difficult to eliminate. Young puppies are especially vulnerable because their immune systems are still developing and they cannot be fully vaccinated until they are older.
Because the health and safety of our dogs and puppies are our top priority, we instead offer:
-
Video chat appointments
-
Regular photos and videos
-
Weekly puppy updates
This allows families to safely see the puppies, adult dogs, and our home environment while keeping everyone protected.
Early Potty Training
To help ease future potty training and keep puppies clean and healthy, we use litter pans filled with a combination of alfalfa and wood pellets instead of potty pads.
The puppies learn to potty only on the wood pellets, even as their living space expands while they grow. This helps keep their environment cleaner and teaches them early that potty habits belong in a designated area rather than throughout the home.
As weather allows, we also begin introducing puppies to outdoor potty routines.
Families may continue using the litter pan system at home while gradually transitioning to outdoor potty training, or they may move directly into traditional potty training. Either approach can be successful because the puppies already have an established foundation.
Puppy Go-Home Pack
Each puppy goes home with a puppy pack that includes:

A 5lb bag of their current food

A small bag of potty pellets

The Waitlist
The waitlist is very easy to get on, just contact us and give your name, phone number, email, and puppy preferences such as breed, color, and gender. There is no fee!
Once a litter has been born we go down through the waitlist and reach out to each person and let them know if we think we do or do not have a puppy that will be a match for their family. At that time the holding fee can be paid and the puppy can be officially reserved.
